Jennifer Tsai, Proad Identity, Taiwan

Jennifer is an expert in the field of branding. She has won sixty-six awards in her field, including the iF, the Red Dot Award, and the Taiwan Design Award. Her passion for branding is reflected in her work, not only as Vice President of the Royal Balibay International Centre, but as Director of the Taiwan Graphic Design Association, where she is also involved in many successful and less successful experimental brand design projects for the Asian market. As founder and President of Proad Identity, she has also developed the brand identity of top companies such as TWTC, LITEON, and NOVA. Jennifer is married and has two children. In her spare time it gives her great pleasure to lend her expertise to the juries of international design competitions. In order to help clients become more internationally competitive and improve the international service they receive, Jennifer and five other designers from different countries formed a co-work alliance called Global Design Source.

Kheireddine Sidhoum, Dragon Rouge, France

Kheireddine, joined Dragon Rouge in December 2013. As chief global creative director, his role is to promote and develop creativity across the Dragon Rouge network and offer clients the best talent for their requirements whatever that might be and wherever they come from in the world. His motto: “Style is local, but a great idea should be global”. Starting out as a science student, Kheireddine gravitated towards the music industry, moving into graffiti art and brand design to launch a career that has spanned more than 17 years. Kheireddine spent 11 years at Brand Union both in New York and Paris, where he was in charge of the creative work of a huge range of consumer and corporate branding projects across the world. In 2012, he founded his own design agency, Button Button with whom he garnered the coveted Cannes Lion at the Festival of Creativity in 2013, before joining the Dragon Rouge team.



Jordy Huisman, Dragon Rouge, Singapore

Jordy heads Dragon Rouge’s creative product team in South & Southeast Asia. After completing his master’s degree in Design & Strategy, Jordy joined Design Bridge Amsterdam where he won a Platinum Pentaward as Schwarzkopf Professional in 2008. In 2010 he moved to London to spearhead Interbrand’s consumer design practice, and two years later re-joined Design Bridge as Creative Director in Singapore. He has worked with clients such as Unilever, Heineken, Schwarzkopf,Sanex AkzoNobel, Friesland Campina, Heinz, Mondelez Kellogg’s, LVMH, Dance4Life, Digi, Telenor, the Malaysian Prime Minister’s office and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation.

Fumihito Sasada, Bravis International, Japan

Born in Tokushima Japan Fumi attended high school and university in Los Angeles, USA. In 1975 Fumi joined the headquarters of Landor Associates in San Francisco. He returned to Japan as creative director of their Tokyo office in 1983 and was responsible for major corporate identity and Packaging projects including JAL, Mizuno, Tokyo Gas, NEC, the Nagano Olympics, Meiji, Kirin Nestle, Coca-Cola and many others. He was appointed Japan representative and deputy president of Landor Associates Tokyo in 1992 and established Bravis International in June 1996.

From 2006 to 2014, Fumi held the position of the President of the Japan Package Design Association (JPDA). Since 2010 he has been President of ASPaC (Asia Student Package Design Competition) Association and head of judging committee. Currently, he is a member of the selection committee for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games Emblem.

Patrick is cofounder and creative farmer of Quatre Mains, a passionate and award-winning design team working locally and internationally in the field of brand identity and packaging design. Quatre Mains is a people driven company founded on enthusiasm and a sincere desire to elevate and expand the way the team and clients think and present themselves. Patrick believes in practical and elegant design solutions without compromising on creativity or professionalism. He loves packaging!

Anna Lukanina, Depot WPF, Russia

Anna has over 10 years of successful experience in the sphere of brand design. In 2002 she joined the team of Depot WPF – one of leading international branding agencies based in Russia. Anna is now its managing partner and responsible for the activities of Global Local Branding Alliance in Russia (Depot WPF is a part of GLBA). Since 2008 Anna has been a board member of epda (European Packaging Design Association). In 2011-2013 Anna held the post of its president. In 2014 Anna won the Kotler Awards in the ‘Branding’ category and gained the status of Russian media manager of the year.

Olav Jünke, ondesign, Germany

Olav studied communication design and design direction in Kiel and Milan and also law in Trier. He held the positions of Art Director with Peter Schmidt and Creative Director with Windi Winderlich/ Enterprise IG. In 1995 he established the agency ondesign – visual identity. Since 2002 the specialist in logo development, corporate design and brand identity has managed the company together with the Italian designer Francalma Nieddu. With his team he won numerous international awards like European Design Awards, Hongkong Global Design Awards and Graphis New York.

Yoshio Kato, Suntory Beverage & Food Ltd., Japan

Yoshio Kato is currently Creative Director and Senior Specialist of Design at the Department of Development Innovation at Suntory Beverage & Food Ltd., where he has forged his career and helped grow the business for over 30 years. He graduated from the Nagoya City High School of Industrial Arts and Design in 1972, and from the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music (Major in Design) in 1979. Yoshio Kato recognizes the importance of balancing artistic creativity in marketing with creative personal expression. Yoshio Kato is also President of the Japan Packaging Design Association and a member of several other highly regarded societies. He is accredited with the creation of many outstanding packaging designs which have won numerous awards. His designs for brands such as Dakara, Iyemon, Boss, and Natchan, have become icons not only in Japan but throughout Asia.

Caroline Mörnås, The Absolut Company, Sweden

Caroline has been head of design at Absolut since March 2014. As the global brand manager of design she is in charge of product and brand identity design for Absolut. Before that, Caroline held the position of global design manager, responsible for projects such as the flavour range re-design, Absolut Craft and the Absolut Master Brand Identity. She also supervised design projects in Absolut, Malibu and Kahlúa. Caroline started her career in design management and strategy in 2008, building on her academic background in architecture and working experience as a marketing assistant in the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship. Caroline is passionate about cityscapes and spends much of her time enjoying urban scenery in Stockholm and during her travels.



Ean Hwa Huang, Dentsu LHS & Merdeka LHS Malaysia

Hwa began his career as a Paintbox Artist in a post-production house in 1990. After 3 years of working on other people’s ads, he decided to join an agency as an art director to create his own and has never looked back.  Hwa enjoys working on old cars, with classic Porsches being his specialty. He has restored over six air-cooled 911 models and is currently working on two more. Design is his passion at work and in his leisure time.

Szu Hung Lee, Dentsu LHS & Merdeka LHS Malaysia

Szu’s career path progresses from law grad, brand executive and copywriter: Szu worked at various advertising agencies – Saatchi, Dentsu Young & Rubicam, Leo Burnett, BBDO and McCann – before founding Merdeka LHS with his partners in 2013.
He’s an aviation geek and, not surprisingly, travels for inspiration (see his IG profile @the_szumeister for evidence).

Paul Roeters, Studio Kluif, The Netherlands

Paul Roeters is the creative director and founder of Studio Kluif, which he set up with his associate Jeroen Hoedjes. Paul is a big music fan and a walking David Bowie encyclopedia.
Dutch graphic design hot shop Studio Kluif boasts a wide variety of projects that show a great sense of strategic knowledge. With their 360-degree approach on numerous types of business and brands they have not only won a lot of international awards, more importantly, they have acquired a lot of happy clients. Breaking the traditional boundaries of ‘classic’ graphic design they are not afraid to go beyond print media and the web. Eager to take on new adventures, Studio Kluif specializes in everything.

Chi-An De Leo, Rice Creative, Vietnam

Chi-An De Leo, co-founder of Rice Creative, where he is designer and creative director. He is a true multicultural and international individual and has lived in 5 countries, including a major stint of 9 years in the UK. Wanting to get back to his Vietnamese roots, he made the move back to the country where he spent the early years of his childhood.

Joshua Breidenbach, Rice Creative, Vietnam

Joshua Breidenbach is designer and creative director, as well as co-founder of Rice Creative, a Vietnam based branding & creative agency. He began his career at global branding powerhouse, Landor Associates, where he quickly became involved in a multitude of branding and packaging assignments for multi-national giants such as P&G.

Chris Bailey, Bailey Brand Consulting, US

Chris founded Bailey Brand Consulting in 1985. He is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the firm including shaping and implementing vision and mission. Throughout his career, Chris has led a broad range of branding initiatives for US and global clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to promising start-up ventures. His company has been recognized for its branding expertise through awards and recognition from organizations such as AIGA, American Corporate Identity and the London International Advertising Awards.

Chris has authored articles for periodicals, such as World Trademark Review and The Journal of Brand Strategy; he’s contributed to books on food and pharmaceutical marketing; and he’s spoken on branding, environmental branding and brand package design.

Rob Vermeulen, Rob Vermeulen Design, The Netherlands

Rob started a design study project at the Maastricht art school in 1973. Three years later he started his own design agency. In subsequent years the agency developed into a full-service design agency, with a portfolio that embraced disciplines such as photography and illustration. Since 2014 Rob has worked as an independent advisor.  He is an active member of the EPDA executive committee, having led the association as its president for 4 years.  Rob has been a juror at the Red Dot design awards, the Taiwan Design Centre and the Golden Label Award in Austria. As a member of the Color Marketing Group (CMG) he organizes workshops about colour trend forecasting and the impact of colour in today’s product design and marketing. He is a member of BNO and Creating Brands, and holds the position of the president of the Limburg Design Association. As a co-founder of the CUBE Design Museum in the Netherlands, opened in 2015, he is now responsible for attracting international design students to join The Living Labs in the museum. He develops so-called Cube Calls, a project for the students working in the labs.

Fon Nopneera Rugsasook, Yindee Design, Thailand

After two years with Chuo-Senko and Ogilvy&Mather, Fon stood down as Art Director to work freelance. She began to work with both Thai and foreign major companies such as Kimberly Clark, Uniliver, Orange and many more.
Her desire to work independently and her passion for communication work for small Thai entrepreneurs has produced some excellent business outcomes and satisfied clients. She is currently managing director at Yindee Design and works with a team of 17 people. Yindee Design has won six DEmark award (Thailand) and three Good Design Awards (Japan) in the last 3 years.

Knut Hartmann, khdesign, Germany

Knut A. Hartmann studied design in Germany and England and established his own brand design consultancy, “khdesign”, in Frankfurt in the early 1980’s as one of the first packaging design companies in Germany. Today he runs the company together with his associate director, daughter Nadine.
Knut Hartmann is a member of the Type Directors Club New York (TDC) and founding member of the European Packaging Design Association (EPDA). Knut Hartmann is a committee member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Offenbach am Main and has been a jury member of many international design awards, including the Red Dot award.
He is an associate lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden, where he teaches brand and packaging design. He has organized a network of design firms specializing in strategic branding, packaging and product design in Europe, Taiwan and the USA.

Philippe Mareilhac, Market Value, France

Philippe started his «retail» journey in Asia with Carrefour in 1997. After two years, he returned to France to join the retail practice of AT Kearney, a strategic consulting firm. In 2004, he became Marketing and Communication Manager of Christofle, a luxury silverware brand where he developed extensive branding and design management skills.
At the end of 2006 he became Managing Director of Market Value, one of the leading French retail design agencies and part of the Team Creatif Group. He has since developed numerous successful retail concepts for international brands such as Carrefour, Sony, Orange, Illy, Renault, Compass, Total, Versace and Galeries Lafayette. The agency now works across Europe, in Africa, the Middle East and Brazil.

Laura DiSciullo, GS1 US, United States

Laura is the Senior Vice President of Solutions for GS1 US. She joined GS1 early in 2010 and immediately began talking with team members and customers to determine where and how they could better serve their members. By taking a two-prong approach to address both internal and external needs, Laura has been able to create an environment for strong results, significantly increasing customer satisfaction and improving membership renewal rate.

Prior to joining GS1 US, Laura spent 20 years in the telecommunications industry and the contact center applications field, focused on how technology is used to deliver a customer experience resulting in greater satisfaction and lifetime value. In her roles at Avaya, Laura directed the creation of industry-leading innovations for customer service applications.

Jo Vander Aa, Agfa Graphics, Belgium

Jo joined Agfa in 1983 and since then has gained 30 years of experience in technology, scouting & new business development at different positions in the Agfa Group. He pioneered in the digitization process of pre-press workflows in offset printing (computer-to-plate).
